Isaiah 31: 6
The appeal to return cannot be given to someone that has never been to the place that he is now urged to come back. And because this urge is given to the people who have to return to Jehovah, that is to the true worship we cannot think that this could be about some people of the world, but about some people who have revolted against it. Even the expression “ Israelites” shows the fact that Jehovah is addressing to his people of spiritual Israelites.
That's why the explanation given of “slave” is ungrounded from the point of view of the Bible, in fact it is totally wrong and thus, unworthy of being taken into consideration. Here is the way the slave explains this passage of the Bible.
“ No doubt that people and also nations – especially the nations of the Christian world “have revolted so much”. (this is a quote from the book The prophecy of Isaiah, light for the entire humanity , chapter 24, page 325, § 17).
Don't let yourself deluded by this kind of explanations! And now, it's high time we see what Jehovah says concerning these prophets, that give such distorted explanations.
“I did not send these prophets yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them yet they have prophesied. But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.”
Jeremiah 23: 21, 22
“ If they had stood in my council” shows the fact that they were not led by the Holy Spirit of Jehovah in order to give such an explanation.
Moreover, Jehovah asks the question:
“How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their fathers forgot my name through Baal worship.
Jeremiah 23: 26, 27
No, they will not succeed in doing this because the biblical truth shows the fact that some remains will return to Jehovah, not following any more these prophets, about whom Jehovah says:
<“Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams”, declares the Lord. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies.”>
Jeremiah 23: 32a
Therefore, we observed in all the last biblical quotations that's it's about “false dreams”, or in other words, wrong interpretations. But, was this a wrong statement when they said “false dreams”? Are there any true dreams? Certainly! And, we are talking here about those dreams that people had since very old times and whose interpretation could not be given until the time has come to be well understood. They were referring to those things that were to happen concerning God's people “in the days to come”. A few texts from the Holy Scriptures come in our rescue in order to understand these things: Genesis 41:25, Daniel 2: 28, Daniel 10: 14. The prophet Joel wrote about these dreams in the sense that in these times Jehovah through His Holy Spirit was to uncover to some people that were chosen by Him the true meaning of these dreams.
The fact that these prophets speak about “false dreams” and “lead God's people astray” shows very clearly that, in fact they were the leaders of the work of straying. (2 Thessalonians 2:11).
Well, Jehovah showing mercy of His people, urge them to come back to Him so as to not let themselves gone astray again. But, unfortunately, most of them will not come back because they have become “ worshippers of the beast”, of the organizational system that these lying prophets are leading. Just “a remnant will return”, as the Bible says. (Isaiah 10: 22)
In the same chapter, in the prophesy of Isaiah, verse 27, we find written the words of Jehovah which He uses to address to those who will set free from the oppressive ruling of this “slave”. Here is what we read further on:
“In those days, his yoke will be taken from my people, and his burden removed from their shoulders.” (Isaiah 14: 25, 27).
Why do we say that Jehovah is addressing only to those who are trying to set free from under this ruling?
Because Jehovah Himself calls these “My people”(Ezekiel 11: 17-20, 37: 27).
So, Jehovah urges His people that turned away so much from the true worship in these final days, as it is shown in the prophecy of Hosea, chapter 9: 9, from where we quote:
“They have sunk deep into corruption as in the days of Gibeah.” Jehovah threw His anger against these people, anger that would not stop “until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart.” (Jeremiah 23: 20). In the same verse, in the end it is shown the following thing: “In days to come you will understand it clearly.”
These words reveal the fact that there were some prophecies concerning the venting of His fury against His people, prophecies that were to be set in light during these times. So, all those who refuse to take these wonderful things seriously, things that are based entirely and wholly on the biblical truth prove to be unworthy of God's favor!
Of course, not knowing about “Jehovah's plans”, these spiritual Israelites, like those from the time of the Babylonian captivity understood everything this way:
“Unless you have utterly rejected us and are angry with us beyond measure.”(Lamentations 5: 22)
The truth from the Bible reveals the fact that “For men are not cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For He does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men.” (Lamentations 3: 31-33)
Certainly, these words apply to those children of men that take into account Jehovah's words and beg for forgiveness and not to those who work against the biblical truth, because here is what we find written about these:
“…but the way of the wicked will perish.”(Psalm 1: 6b)
Therefore, concerning those spiritual Israelites who really acknowledge that they have gone astray and now, sincerely wish to return to Jehovah, they get from Him the following ensurance:
“I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them!” (Hosea 14: 4)
Concerning these children of Israel we read the following:
“They will follow the Lord; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west.” (Hosea 11: 10)
Also the prophet Zechariah confirms Jehovah's declarations concerning these great things and says:
“This is what the Lord Almighty says: I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west. I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem ; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.”
(Zechariah 8: 7, 8)
In what follows in verse 13, we follow what Jehovah declares:
“As you have been an object of cursing among the nations, o Judah and Israel , so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.”
In this concern here is what Jehovah says:
“Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers righteousness on you.” (Hosea 10: 12)
To sow for yourselves righteousness means to sow in accordance with God's justice and not following human advice and guidance.
The children of Israel , under the ruling of the “slave” did not sow right but “they have planted wickedness, they have reaped evil, they have eaten the fruit of deception” (Hosea 10: 13), and that's why Jehovah says:
“The roar of battle will rise against your people, so that all your fortresses will be devastated… Thus will it happen to you, o Bethel , because your wickedness is great. When the day dawns, the king of Israel will be completely destroyed.” (Hosea 10: 14a, 15)
Then in verse 11 of chapter 11 from Hosea's prophesy it is shown:
“They will come trembling like birds from Egypt , like doves from Assyria . I will settle them in their homes, declares the Lord.”
Under divine inspiration, Isaiah asks this question:
“Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?” (Isaiah 60: 8)
It's about those who return now, in these times to Jehovah, whom they have gone astray from. Resembling with some clouds, what we have to understand here is that on this kind of clouds the Son of Man comes – Jesus Christ. (Matthew 24: 30b)
Even though to these things it has been assigned another time for their fulfilment, the truth is, according to the Holy Bible, that only now it really starts their accomplishment. The real facts concerning God's people confirm strongly this truth. We have to keep in mind the fact that once the true worship is regained, the prophecy says: “Then will all your people righteous…” (Isaiah, 60: 21). Then, can we really say that this state is the one, which characterises the world organisation of those who bear God's name today?
We have to be very hypocrite to assert such a thing! It's better to acknowledge the real facts. Therefore, the assertion that this nation is formed only out of untainted human beings is not true.
In what concerns the state of the people of God's pledge, Jehovah is asking the following question: “ Who falls and never rises?”; “ Who turns away without coming back?”
Thus, Jehovah inspires the prophet Malachi to tell them the following words: “Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me and I will return to you, says the Lord Almighty. But you ask: How are we to return?” (Malachi 3: 7)
To this question, that, in a very natural way those who are enrolled among the people who feed themselves at the slave's table (which they think it's Jehovah's table), ask, Jehovah brings to their attention the fact that the very tithes and offerings given by the slave robs Him. Thus, the ones who are really tainted must withdraw from these kinds of things. Then, to these, Jehovah tells that they do not speak correctly when they say that the arrogant and the evildoers even though they challenge God, they escape.
Are they right or maybe they haven't understood yet why Jehovah allowed that they exist and, even more to be very prosper? Of course, they didn't understand these things the same way Asaf did not understand “the prosperity of the wicked.” (Psalm 73: 3-9) But when was the time when Asaf understood these things? When he entered the sanctuary of God then he understood the way Jehovah was working and he understood that by following and researching Jehovah's paths, as he later exclaims in Psalm 77: 13a: “Your ways, o God, are holy.”
Certainly to walk in the sanctuary today means to search in those that Jehovah identifies with His temple, guidance in regard to what happens and the way Jehovah will treat those who defended His legacy. (Matthew 24: 28)
The same as Asaf, the people of pledge from today must understand which is the final destiny of the evildoers. They must understand, as Asaf did that Jehovah puts the evil ones in slippery places, that is in responsible positions on His ways, which for them are slippery because they can't walk on them since they are not at their will. So, they work as their heart dictates, loosing thus Jehovah's approval.
“… you cast them down to ruin. How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! As a dream when one awakes, so when you arise, o, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies.” (Psalm 73: 18b-20)
This is the truth in regard to the evil one that foreshadowed the evil ones from Asaf's times and are, in fact no others than “the wrongdoing man” – the slave – and those who follow him worshipping, but they are, in fact insulting and trampling Jehovah's anointed people. But not only these are insulting but all those that have such an attitude towards “these very little brothers” of Jesus, no matter of their religious orientation.
Look in the mirror of your actions, whoever you are in order to admit for yourselves your identity and your position: are you on the right or on the left of the King?
So, everybody who thought until now that Jehovah would spare the evil ones we were talking about before should better change this opinion immediately. Therefore, those who return to Jehovah for real should be determined not to betray Him by accepting the bringing in of some tithes and offerings, which are not in accordance with the biblical truth. And, in the same time they should not use harsh words against Jehovah because He won't accept under any circumstance the evil ones. You should realise why Jehovah does not accept these kinds of “tithes and offerings”. The reason is that which Jehovah is talking about as we read: “… When you bring injured, crippled or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?, says the Lord.” (Malachi 1: 13b)
We should be very careful because Jehovah draws our attention upon a very important thing and that is: “For I am a great king, says the Lord Almighty, and my name is to be feared among the nations.” (Malachi 1: 14b)
So, only under the condition of dropping those “tithes and offerings”, which are injured, crippled, diseased or, in other words, which do not correspond to the biblical truth in a very accurate way, can someone prove that they are really going back to Jehovah! Only in this way, as we've noticed while reading verse 7 from Malachi, chapter 3, Jehovah promises that He will get back to them. Not only the dropping of the wrong teachings is necessary, but also the assimilation of some accurate knowledge, based entirely on the biblical truth that Jehovah was referring to when He inspired the prophet Hosea to write:
“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgement of God rather than burnt offerings.” (Hosea 6: 6)
This kind of acknowledgement that is now given, God's people did not have during the slavery of the wrong doing man, as Jehovah himself declares: “… my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4: 6a)
Therefore, this return to Jehovah on the bases of knowledge entirely centred on the truth, knowledge that is given by Jehovah through His spirit to the chosen ones. This kind of knowledge is obtained after a deep research and corresponds with the condition given by Jehovah as we read further on:
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29: 13)
Of course only those will come back who assimilate the words of Jehovah, which appear in the prophecy of Jeremiah:
“Only acknowledge your guilt, you have rebelled against the Lord your God, you have scattered your favours to foreign gods under every spreading tree and have not obeyed me, declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 3: 13)
Then, Jehovah says:
“Return, faithless people, declares the Lord, for I am your husband. I will choose you – one from a town and two from a clan – and bring you to Zion .” (Jeremiah 3: 14)
But we ask ourselves: to what clans is He referring to here?
Of course it's about the clans from the country of Israel , that is the tribes which compose the country of Israel . In Zechariah's prophecy we find written about these families that they will mourn and this brings into our mind the words of our Lord, Jesus Christ who said:
“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn?” (Matthew 24: 30a)
But for what will these nations mourn?
Here is what the Bible says about this:
“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have perceived, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” (Zechariah 12: 10)
When the prophet John has a vision concerning the 144.000 members of the spiritual Israel , he also hears the enumeration of the clans from where these are taken. About these clans or nations from where Jehovah said He would take two in every one of them we'll talk, under the guidance of Jehovah, in other future editions.
So, do not despair, you, children of Jehovah that did not worship the beast (that is to the wrong doing man and his organised system) because Jehovah says:
“I will accept you as fragrant incense…” (Ezekiel 20: 41a)
So, our next article will be called “ THE INCENSE”
